It is our great pleasure to announce the launch of International Journal of Coastal and Offshore Engineering (IJCOE), a scientific-research peer-reviewed quarterly journal. The journal aims to provide a forum for publication of theoretical, numerical, experimental and field investigations on coastal and offshore engineering and promote international academic exchanges.

The journal has an international editorial board consisting of professors and experts in coastal engineering and offshore structures at universities and research institutes. The editorial board makes a great effort in reviewing papers to ensure the high quality of the papers and fast peer-review process.

International Journal of Coastal and Offshore Engineering invites the submission of manuscripts in the related fields. The scope of the journal includes (but not limited to): Coastal Engineering, Port and Waterfront Engineering, Coastal Zone Development and Management, Coastal and Offshore Structures, Offshore Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Subsea Technology, Applied Hydrodynamics and Hydraulics, Applied Marine and Coastal Geotechnics, Marine Environmental Engineering, Ocean and Coastal Hazards, Marine Renewable Energies and Computational Fluid Dynamics.

The journal's language is English and four types of paper are considered: research papers, review papers, technical notes and case studies. The benefits of publishing in IJCOE include:

The journal provides free and open access to all of its contents on journal website (www.ijcoe.inio.ac.ir). Accepted papers will immediately appear online followed by printed in hard copy. The first issue is planned to be published in fall 2016.
